1st attempt at Headshots

Someone from New York Googled me and asked if I did head shots. I had been wanting to learn how to do this. So I took a couple of a friend yesterday with natural light. I believe I used flash on this. (I RARELY ever use it). Would really appreciate critiques or information on how to improve.

The first one is great, especially with the bright background, you did a good job with this one. The second one is a great shot also, the only thing I would change are the reflections in the eyes. This is just a personal preference and I would love to hear from some portrait photographers as to what is good and what is too much. Great job, thanks for posting. Anyway, this is what I would do for the eyes...
