I shot this a couple of mornings ago. I took different DOFs, and I liked this one the best. What do you think about this shot?

Interesting subject, but the top of the pic ruins the bottom. Would try again with more details.

No, get closer and loose that overblown background. Just the plants will do. If you need a background, try something darker.
