After about an hour of thinking and stuff.. .. I decided to do it. I put an order in for the dRebel w/ Lens from Ritzcamera w/ next day deliv. I feel so bad. I don't have that much money to start with and here I am spending a grand. :/

Don't worry Phidong! It will be worth every penny and you will be SO glad you did.
I sold a lot of stuff on Ebay to make up for the price and so far I have nearly paid it off.

How are you enjoying it? Did you get a lens to go with it? I think I'm going to get the 50mm prime (f1.8), but I might get a zoom lens instead.

I'm loving every minute, nay, second......
I have a 50mm which is quite good for close-ups and portrait distance photos. Cheap too, (around £60 on Ebay, £79 new), but my main lens is a 28-135mm lens which I took a chance on (gulp!) on Ebay. Got it for £300 whereas new it costs £499 (or at least it did). It's great! The image stabilisation is great as I'm too lazy to use a tripod.

Did you get one? (I just noticed this is a very old posting)
