Hi,

Just set up a site w/ RAW linear processing resources.

As soon as I got FM 10D LPbatch I tried it with different raw conversion tools, have just posted an article analyzing the results (impressive I must say) of FVU+10D LPBatch vs dcRAW + 10D LPbatch.

I'd bet most of you will be (gladly, like me) surprised about dcraw, and most FVU suspecting users will see their fears come true.

Mac users, don't miss this one! Now one of the best raw conversion engines, dcraw, unveils it incredible potential thanks to FM 10D LPbatch (no, I don't get any commision ;))..

I've made a preliminary easy to install package so that you can take advantage of dcraw without resorting to the command line on OS X, using a contextual menu plugin.

I've built also a Windows binary for those on windows OSes.

Check http://www.insflug.org/raw hope you find it useful. Sorry for any typos, grammar etc English isn't my native language.

I'll welcome any feedback!

Interesting - does this directly apply to the EOS 300d (Rebel) as well?

the 300D is a trimmed 10D (in theory). So far I haven't been able to test this with a 300D. Maybe it will need some tweaking to the linear profile, or maybe a completely different one.

If someone make s a 300D image available (daylight by now please) I could do some tests and post the results.

As a side note, I applied the 10D LPbatch linear action to a Powershot G3 linear file produced by dcraw and the results were also pretty good... cannot understand how could the G3 color response be similar, but certainly the results were good.
