Went up to brands for some Motorcycle racing today, never been to bikes before so was looking forward to it. Didnt realise quite how fast they were!

anyway

No idea what they were, no idea at all, but it was interesting, i got a good few shots that i will keep, and i learnt a few things about metering, panning, shutter speed and how damn windy it was!

great pictures, thanx for sharing .
i like the reflection on the visor in the 2nd picture..
and pic 4 gives a good sensation off speed and bike is perfectly sharp.

I liked #2 best as well. All the images are real sharp and the color is well toned.

More proof that the good old 300D can turn it on in the right hands. Looking at number 4 i have to ask who is it that said you can't have sharpness AND motion in the same shot ?

For a first go at bikes those are very nice indeed :)

Love number 4, any EXF detail of the camera settings for the shots?

no. 4 is indeed great .i think no 2 could have been really good if you had used a slower shutter speed - it's nice as it is but i could have great!

the green ninja looks a lot better here - may i suggest some shadow/highlights in your p.s and maybe some cropping . i think it could be a winner
