Pictures From A Seattle Storm Game+My First Post

Ok, so I thought I would make these my first post on this forum, they are the first decent sports photos I have yet taken, I took them at a Seattle Storm game last tuesday, let me know what you think.

Welcome to the forum and your first image post. Both shots are in sharp focus but too much DOF in the second shot for me.

What lens were you using?

Nice pictures, but I would like to see a much closer crop and less distracting background...

I was using the canon EF-50mm f1.8, it was the only lens that I could afford that is fast enough to do this kind of shooting, and since the seats that I have are nearly courtside, I can get away with it, although it would be nice to have a good zoom, the guards at the door where making people leave big lenses out of the arena

You can't even bring an SLR in an NBA arena, so consider yourself lucky!
