going through some of the photos i've taken over the last few weeks, i've picked out a few that made me stop and go 'hmmmm'

1. the tackling instinct is so strong, it's often stronger than the 'he's on your team' one...

Hey buddy. Some great shots there once again. I'm really enjoying this form of photography. It is weird though to see a Manly badge on a Roosters jersey. :rolleyes:

Halirious captions but the timing of the shots were even better! Love them. Third shot is my favourite!

thanks everyone for the great comments.

Peter - yes it is difficult for me as well, since i back the Chookies. it just seems odd.
Alex - yeah it's a vicious sport and if you commit to tackling someone who is bigger than you and can change directions without warning, you've got to be prepared to cop a beating once in awhile. the player in that photo is #2 in the under 13s league in scoring and is even more aggressive when defending.
Scott & Cowtown - i still laugh out loud seeing them, especially at #2 & #3. i'm still reminded of when my boys were playing at that age and how different they are now.
