Hi there,

I'm very new to this all, and am just after help with one aspect of my camera in particular. I haven't had it very long so am still trying to work my way around it, I'm sure this is something that I could find out in the manual but I haven't got it with me and need to know this asap really!

I was just wondering if the IXUS 60 has a sport/action mode? And if it does, where the hell is it?! I've had a look, but the menus seem pretty limited really, maybe I'm just not pressing the right thing! The reason I ask is because my boyfriend plays in a band and I used my camera last week to take some pics of them performing, they came out dreadfully! They're all blurred, not a single one of them in "action" came out well and I was wondering if there's any way to rectify this?

I love this camera but I fear I may have found it's one and only fault, please someone tell me it isn't true?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Indoors, I presume? "Sports" modes will try to keep as fast a shutter speed as possible, but if you're not outdoors in some kind of daylight, it's usually too dark to allow the necessary fast shutter speed for stopping subject motion. You'll need 1/60 sec. or faster shutter speeds (more if there's jumping around), a wide open aperture, and as high an ISO setting as you can get. Try either the "Indoor" mode in High Auto or Manual at ISO 800, and the largest aperture (smallest aperture number) you can set and shutter speed chosen accordingly.
