Hi

I bought some scan disk compact flash ultra 2 512 mb at Circuit city on sale for 30.00 each. I brought them home and put one in my A75 I know it will not give me and faster speed but I see that the camera uses compact flash one. Will these disc's hurt my camera. the one I opened fits in the camers I am sending it away for the rebate. I will return the other one If I should not be using the Ultra 2 compact flash. I will save it for when I upgrade. (I opened it) Please advise.

I don't believe you need to worry about it... it's just a faster version than the older ones, but still compatible AFAIK.

"Ultra II" is a brand name; Compact Flash Type 1 or Type 2 is a size specification (CF 1 is 3.3 mm thick; CF 2 is 5 mm thick). The Ultra II cards are CF Type 1, so no worries. A CF 2 wouldn't physically fit into the A75.
