i just tried to install the 1.0.0.1 firmware upgrade for my s100 as described on http://www.canon.co.jp/Imaging/ELPH/ELPH_Firmware.html
after uploading using method b (i don't have a cf card reader), i turn on the camera in replay mode, but i don't get the "firm update" option in the menu.
can someone shed some light?
