WP-DC700 in pools

From reading about how to clean the front of my case, i learn't i should be carefull on what chemicals i should use. Will taking my camera with the WP case underwater affect the rubber at all?

I'm just thinking of all the chemicals put into pools these days if something in there could damage the seal eventually?

Use mine in swimming pools (S50 + WPDC something)

Spoke to the guys I bought it off, and they recommend replacing the seal every 12-18 months, depending un usage.

After that, the ring will start to deteriorate
