desperately seeking help

bought S2IS 3 weeks back ....a amazing buy and was very satisfied with the result.:D
from yesterday encountered a problem .....lcd showing white screen ....can view from viewfinder ...can take photos. But I cant use lcd anylonger :(
white screen all the way no mechanical damage to no abuse to camera

I seemed to have read in this forum that the S2 lcd will not work simultaneously with the viewfinder. Could that be a problem?

call canon--may be a defect in software, wiring or something else--I am sure that some people (myself included) could give a few things to try out, but if it is new, just call canon or take it to a service center--they have great customer service--they will take care of it for you

could be the brightness setting on your LCD screen. Check your manual on setting screen brightness.
