the third and the fifth.. but I think I gravitate to them more because of the captures than the PP but all good work.. some wonderful subjects you have to work with...

I like them all as well. #1 and #2 really stand out to me but I think they're all good.

I think #2 is fantastic. It's the expression, light, everything.

I think you are doing a great job! Here's my take
1: I really wish both eyes were in focus and the color seems a bit too green for me...
2: beautiful!!!
3: great catchlights and what a handsome little smirk. maybe a tad more contrast??
4: so perfectly soft and sweet! I love the eye contact!
5: same, except I love the profile...
Without knowing where you are coming from (experience wise), I would say your hard work on portraits is paying off!!!
Thanks for sharing!

I like the second image best as well. I swear I've seen that picture somewhere before. I'm having a weird de ja vu moment! It's beautiful, though. The tones, especially are wonderful.

you may have seen the photo in a couple of other forums in color. Ive done about four different edits. post process was photoshop 7. levels, contrast, dodging and burning around the eye area, saturated sponge in the eye, dodging of the hair on the outside of the haad to gain that halo effect and then sepia tone added, played around with levels and saturation again. neat image to remove noise.

They're all nice portraits, but I like #'s 2 & 3 best. I especially like the expression and pose of #3.

Lovely work. I really like them all but #1 (except for the color tint) stands out for me as classic portraiture. #2 is a real close 2nd with me. Very nice work and wonderful subjects.

The lighting on these is very nice.. All of them.
#1 The color looks funky, but the pose and crop are very nice
#2 Love it... :)
#3 Looks very nice... I always like to see a little light in the eyes.. good job. :)
#4 I like it ,but it looks a little soft to me.... Perhaps a little more sharpening woud do it fine.
#5 Veyr sweet and natural, although both eyes should be focused (in a perfect world)
Overall you are doing awesome! great captures here and beautiful children. :)
