Nice to see you on here man. There's a bunch of AP guys on here. love the angle you got on #8. How close were you?

And hide that EXIF data, you shoot canon!;)

Not as close as I got on others!! :) I was 3-4 feet away in that shot. I did get the camera closer on some other shots, but haven't had a chance to go through all the images for detail yet.

I'll make sure and hide the fact that I shoot brand X. :)

hahahah brand x. Did you have a remote setup or the track crew didn't care about the camera guy laying in the waterbox?

This is my home track and I'm allowed to do just about anything that doesn't get me (or anyone else) killed/hurt or interfere with the races. Since the worst that would happen is to get a rock in the UV filter, I wasn't too worried. It does help that the owners are photographers themselves.

I do have a remote setup, but sometime that just won't work, so I sacrifice my body for the shots (as in this one)! :lol: I was actually, just behind the crew area and well in front of the water box (it's back another 15-20 feet).
