Code E19

Anyone have an idea what error E19 is for?
When turning camera on to take pics, it starts up, looks ready, but LCD screen never comes on and the camera shuts down.
Tried replacing CF card and battery, same result.
Viewing pic's mode OK.

Any idea how long Canon repair typically takes?
