Thanks! I posted this in response to racketmans post "micros" and the comment made by Leorooster, wanting to see some really small micros.:lol: Microphotography is a favorite pastime of mine also.:D

I am quite sorry, I have only the wings and bits of them to go by. I found them in on the front lawn. Probably all that is left from a bat or bird strike. I am quite sure they are Luna Moth wings. These moths get quite large and are usually found around mecrcury vapor lamps at night, I have one at the street corner. What you see in the image is the scales of one of the large spots on the moths wings.:D

I really can't remember?:lol: I think it is a 50% crop of the original.:D
