Are there photographers in my area? (Albany, NY)

I'm sure there are. I'm curious though if there is anywhere to go to find people in my area that are into photography. I'm no pro so that rules out a lot of people. I'm in Upstate New York, just outside of Albany.

Hi Scraggles, I am also in the Albany area and new to photography. I met some folks from this club at a show a few months back and I plan to check it out this fall.
I don't think they meet in the summer.

I am in Guilderland. Just an idea, maybe you would get more attention to your post if you put the location in the title. It might grab attention of some people that are close to this area. There has to be more than just us.....right?

Yeah, maybe a moderator could put 'Capital District' or 'Troy, NY' area in the title.

AgandAu, I was in the bronx at the zoo today, and it really made me think of how many photographers there are down there. Everyone had a DSLR, most of which were XT's. I know there has got to be a lot more up here.
