Seek some advice on best use of what I equipment I have

I have been absorbing and learning from the threads here but now wanted to ask a question that's specific to my own situation.

I am a recent photography student. I mostly shoot Live Band photos, Casual Portraits, and small Group Shots (usually indoors and with low lighting), also kids portraits.

I recently purchased a Canon EOS 350D. I have also bought the following Canon lenses;

EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6
EF 50mm f/1.8 II
EF 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6

I would like to ask advice based on the lenses I do own, (rather than the one's I wished I owned) and for my own situations what would be the better lenses to use for each of these situations. I have been testing them out to a degree and of course will continue to trial and learn, but wanted to get some advice as well.

for Live Band probably your 50mm as its rather good for low lit areas...The rest as you see best to use, it you want a wide angle of someone use the 18mm-55mm if you want closer use the others... You could in fact use your 50mm for portrait as well.. Just play with them and you will so figure which you prefere.

The 50mm f1.8 was the first lense I bought and I used it for everything (indoor shots, portraits, macro, even landscape :) ). If I were you, that would be the primary lens (because of the sharpness) and use the other ones only when you cannot zoom with your feet to frame the picture you want to take (ie. sports)

In low light situations, don't be affraid of increasing the ISO in low light situations.

If you're shooting bands in a dark hall, you'll find the 50mm f/1.8 is your only friend.... When shooting action under low light, f/3.5 and higher can be really difficult at ISO speeds under 1600.
