Hi guys,
Have you used other lens on your A620? Which one did you get and how much did you have to spend for it?
Thanks for your time...

I have an a610 with the lensmate adapter. I have both a tele converter and wide angle converter. Tele was the Tiffen 43mm with the lensmate 52-43 thin step ring. I got it off ebay pretty cheap, brand new, around less than $25.
For wide ange, I got an Olympus WCON 08 0.8x. Works pretty well. Pretty hard to handle because of the shape but the quality is very good. I have still yet to take serious pics with it, only test scenes. Spent about 36.00 US shipped also on ebay, also brand new. It only gives 0.8x but it's good enough for me. The WCON 07 might be better but it's generally more expensive though.

Are you happy with your Tiffen teleconverter? I'm actually considering buying this from lensmate for my A610 but I've been warned about reduced picture quality. I'm trying to decide if it's worth the extra $$ to add the S2 to my collection vs using a telconverter with the A610 that I already own and I've been told that I'll have much better picture quality with the S2 compared to using a teleconverter on my A610. I love the A610 but I miss the stronger zoom that I'm accustomed to so I'm trying to figure out how to get the best of both worlds without dragging two cameras around. :)

Without trying other teleconverters, I can say that I'm very happy with it. Quality is great, even lensmate acknowledges that. Only drawback with using a teleconverter is that camera shake is much more of a factor so you need a fast shutter speed. The S2 has IS so that helps alot. Also, the tiffen starts vignetting two zooms in from full zoom.

Thanks for the post DYLE, I been looking around for lenses but alas they dont come cheap... but you had a great deal with yours... I guess I'll try my luck on ebay same as you did...
Can you post a pic of what you got (only if its not too much to ask.)
Thanks again...

For those with these lenses, is there any/much corner vignetting?
Im really seriously thinking about getting the Canon A620 and eventually the telephoto converter to make it x8 zoom. The wide angle one is interesting as well.
