I took these behind my Apartment Building close to a slightly wooded area in Toronto, Ontario. He must have a nest close by, I noticed him flying and landing in a triangle formation stopping at each corner for about 3 minutes.

These Red Cardinals will perch anywhere it appears even on dangerous ones.
At such a height you have managed to get good focus on the cardinal, well done.
