Dell Ships 10D - Still waiting for 70-200L IS

Fellow Canonians...

Dell has shipped my 10D. Placed the order the day after I placed the order for the 70-200L IS.

Ground shipping so I am expecting it at my door around the 1st of Oct.

I better start cleaning the house and making room for my new family member....what shall I name the 10D...it has to have a name...suggestions welcome.

Now the wait is on for the 70-200L IS.

I suggest the name "Betty Ford" because this is only the beginning of an addiction battle you will not be able to win! You will rationalize all kinds of crazy things to come up with more finances for that "one last purchase", before you sadly discover that the "last purchase" has given rise to the need for a new toy, more rationalization, and the spiral continues.

Today I will be at the local blood bank, selling off another couple quarts. It's too late for me, but you still have a chance Shafiq, GET OUT NOW! just leave the house before the 10D arrives. :-)

Apply for a new credit line now !!!! This is only the begining of doing your part of keeping the economy going. Better yet buy stock in Canon so you can get some of the long term dividends.
All n all just take your time, learn the camera and purchase only what you need.

the you can build "i love you my precious", "no you cant borrow my precious", "who put his dirty hands on my precious" and so on ...

of course "my precious" comes from the movie "the lords of the lenses - the two zooms" ;)

WOW!! I tried to order one two days ago and they told me it wouldn't deliver until just before Christmas. What the Dell is going on?
