S50 accessories/options

My wife is looking to buy a present for a friend who owns a Canon S50. She said she would like something for the camera. I didn't think S50 allowed attachments, is that true?
Does it have a filter thread? or can you buy one?

Any thoughts or ideas would be very helpful--and oh, by the way need to get it by Monday!

Have a look for the thread on filter/lense adapters.

Ive got an underwater case, 2x zoom, 0.56x wideangle, polariser and uv filters. A bit ungainly, but it does the job.
