A while back I started a thread asking people to show their best 100-400L birds, as I was seriously looking to purchase that as my birding lens.

Well, some of you also posted your 400 f/5.6L images and I was so impressed by their quality that I changed my mind and bought the 400 f/5.6L instead and I am glad I did.

I agree. Thats is awesome capture!. All the photos are great too. I wish I had the money for that lens.

Can't boast pictures of the 400 f/5.6L has I don't have the lens, but all these shots in these posts are very stunning making me jealous.
