The other day I woke up to a rainy start. Which was nice because its so dry and HOT. I went to my computer and hit up some photography forums mean while the photographic juices started to flow. Finally I could not take anymore. I picked up my Elan 7n which had been sitting loaded with Tri-X 400 collecting dust for about 2 weeks slapped on my Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM macro lens and went out side.
Previosly when I tried this I would have to force my self to raise the camera and take a photo. Not this time though. I walked out my back door went right for the garden and spotted a little area where some leaves still had some rain left over on them. That did it. I whipped out my graycard and took a quick reading and just tore off and shot up the roll of film. I did not have to force my self to take a shot. It was great!.
A day later I processed the film in my bathroom (which is a real trip) but since my scanner (a HP scanjet with a TMA) is just, well not even remotely up to the task, I took the negs down to my 1hour lab and had them burned to a CD. They came out pretty good.
The bad side is, when the negs where in the process of drying, I dropped them to the floor twice (D'OH!)
Here are 2 images and one 100% crop from that session. Only thing I did was a slight levels adjustment and resize. I still need to go back and re tweak these (dust and scratches for one) I even told my lab not to enhance the scans. 2nd roll of film I ever processed :)

It may be me but I really dig these
This stuff sure is fun but then again, so is digital
