It's going to take a while to get the hang of it as I am a pure novice. I thought I'd try a water shot as they seem to come out pretty cool. Comments and criticism highly welcomed! These were shot using a 20d and the 17-85 IS USM an AV of 5.6.
I'm still not getting the sharpness I want so any tips would be highly appreciated. I'm also using PS for post processing..

That a really cool water capture;).......Maybe a little faster shutter speed??
It almost looks like a wax filter was used.......

I second the opinion that it looks like liquid wax!
Anyways I think this shot is superb! Magnificient capture!

You have to rename this one to "plastic shot"... :-)

Thank you for the comments. I'm having a fun time learning how to use the camera (and the lens). With that said, there is sure a great deal to learn.
