Good shot and an excellent find of this Great crested Crebe. love the colours in these shots.

Very very nice captures. I love the second shot, the detail and the exposure are excellent and what a pose!

I prefer the 2nd shot. The background on the first is a bit distracting to me. very nice colors and light.

Very nice shots of the grebe Alan. Low angle, nice colors, sharp........ I, too, like #2 the best.

Its strange that you all prefer the 2nd shot cuz i like the 1st one more.Thats the way it goes i spose each person has they're own taste :cool:

I also prefer nr. 2. In nr. 1, it is a pitty that the darker bg area is behind the head of the bird.

Very nice captures, we have two or three kinds of grebes, but not that one. Great job.

Thanks for your comment about the darker BG in the 1st shot, i did'nt really notice that.

Alan, nice pic's but my vote is for No 2. loverly colours.
