Quick question, sorry if this is the wrong place.
If polarisers work best at 90 degrees to the sun, should i still use one when pointing at the sun during a sunset, will it have any additional effect??
cheers for any help..

It's 90 degrees perpendicular to the sun on the horizontal axis, so I can't think of anything that you would gain by shooting directly into it.

I think from experience, it may still decrease the light coming in by just a small amount. But you don't see the polarizor effect when you point it at the sun.

Good point, I think it's 1 or 2 stops.
