It was a lousy day for shooting as I had to bump the ISO to 800 to keep shutter speed fast enough for handheld shooting this time, but I was amazed how great these turned out. Comments and sugestions welcomed.

Great Series of shots, especialy the Swallows in flight.:) How on earth to you manage to keep up with these guys? they move so darn quickly. Can I ask what camera and lens you took these with please?

How do I keep up.... well it took a lot of practice and having very extencive vocabulary ;) also helps hehehe...

mkII with 400mm f5.6 with 1.4X at times.

All shots were ISO800 and handheld.

Nice shots.

I like the detail in the last 2.

That is impressive to be able to get flight shots of such a fast and erratic flying bird.

Excellent fast capture of the swallows, managed to get them framed with good detail.
The last shot is my favourite with the spotted sandpiper, the composition is very, very good.

I love the composition of the last shot!
The swallow shots are amazing though. Those swallows move fast! Congrats on great captures!
