Hi guys, my first post in this part of the forum!
I was at a friends wedding as a guest a while ago. I managed to take a few shots!
Just wondering what you think of my pics!

#1 is interesting - the WB is off though. Look a bit too warm.
#2 I absolutely LOVE. Excellent shot and composition and good use of selective color.
#3 - I don't like the angle/crop and would like to see it in full color.
#4 - I don't think selective coloring should be used here at all.
#5 - I like this shot, but am not a fan of the duotone. I would like to see the full color and a regular B&W.

Sign my name to Andrews post, except for #5 which I like. Not sure I like the photoshop work in #1 but I like the photo.

The last one would be good as a selenium print which would satisfy both Tim and Odin, since it is a rich tonal brown picture and not just a color overlay/filter.

4 has leftover reminants of red eye in the background (the woman). And seems slightly out of focus.

Don't get me wrong, I like selective colour.
I don't like seeing it done too much, though. I'm a strong believer in the photos being able to have an impact without tricks and add-ons. Selective colour is nice, but generally only in isolation.

I think they turned out well. I agree usually about not overdoing the amount of photographs with selective color, but I'm sure your friend will love these. You did a good job, and its probably something their regular photographer might not have offered them.

Hi all! Many thanks for the very useful comments!
therosefairy - i actually have no intention of giving these to the bride and groom! This was purely just me messing around with candids and some poses setup by the real photographer!!! I did show them to the bride and she really liked them but they are not being printed or anything!!
Thanks again everyone!
