Where can I find a really good write-up on the best process steps for handling RAW formatted pictures.

Is there a website or white paper on this?

Thanks

I personally use Phase One's Capture One DSLR.

Hands down it is the best piece of software availible to process raw files. You can dowload their demo at:

I work at a studio who went all digital with canon cameras and spent about 4 months trying some rather expensive software (upwards of 7000.00). After about 4 hours of working with Phase One we were hooked. If you are serious about photography, spend the dough (about 600.00).

You can search this forum for "workflow" and find quite a few threads on this subject. Some have links to websites that discuss workflow in detail.

I also cast my vote for PhaseOne Capture1 DSLR -- a key tool in my workflow.

$99 gets you the LE version that is more than enough for the average non professional. Download their free trial and they provide all the info you need to determine if you need the Pro version.
