What are some good filters to use from Photoshop on wedding photography? I just shot a wedding and want to spice up some shots if possible just for a change of pace. Suggestions?

I use a half dozen regularly, most from this site
http://atncentral.com/download.htm
Also the free virtual photographer sometimes, but not so much for weddings.

Hey musclepump,
Once you download the zip fil just extract it to your adobe folder in this directory..
\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Presets\Photoshop Actions
I suggest the midnight set from the actions. Tim just introduced me to those and I am LOVING them.

I love midnight sepia, dragan & glamour blur actions for wedding photo's, a bit of selective colour and then just regular B&W which i do myself in PS

You may have to hit load on the actions palette and find the action file, not sure. Midnight sepia is my favorite action, but I use it sparingly. Also I got a set of free kutoba actions from asukabook yesterday which are simple but kinda cool. They're only for registered customers as a reward for filling out a survey, and I will respect their request not to pass them on.

I love the second set of Kubota actions. They are worth their weight in gold.

Agree with the Kubota actions - both sets of Artistic actions are great, but the 2nd set is exceptional.

Click the arrow that's to the right of the Actions tab; then when the list pops up, click Load, it'll open your folder, and just double click the new action you want added.

That midnight sepia one can really save some otherwise grainy shots!

For example... this picture was originally very grainy, badly colored, etc... Now, it's not a great shot, but one worth keeping.

Wow! I love the ones from the first link suggested. Gothic Glow and DuoTone Dream are my favorites. Do you all just let them run, or adjust them step by step to your specifications?

I have a dumb question.
I am use to using PSP so PS is different how do you run an action once you have it in the action pallete?
Another question how to you get the layer pallete to show back up if you closed it?
Thanks,
Sonya
