Hiya to all,
Sorry about the quality but these two jus wouldn't stay still for me, can't think why !!! I found em on a Hydrangea bush in the local churchyard.
The other pic is of some eggs I found on the underside of the same leaf, I've no idea who may have laid these, does anyone have an idea please ???
good one for you Brian if you taking a look.
Cheers for now

Hiya Leorooster,
Thanks for your reply, those eegs are weird, they remind me of some Winter Mixture Humbug sweats that have been sucked till they're round.
Cheers for now

That egg shot is fascinating. I've never seen anything like them. They're grossing me out a little (as insect eggs tend to do), but at the same time, there's a beauty about them I can't deny.
Almost forgot to mention that I also like the angleof that shot.

Hiya Muskoo,
They sure are weird, as you'll see from my join date I'm really new to this stuff, I've always been an outdoor person with an interest in wildlife Etc. but I never realised how much I'd missed until now.
Cheers for now

Hiya Alan,
Thanks for your comments, it was the focus on the male the did it in, I guess he was to preoccupied to stand still, lol.
The eegs were taken in really bright sunlight, I just flipped the leaf over once the two Ladybugs had gone.
I really messed up earlier, I spent ages trying to get some ant shots. I'd lifted a stone & a battle royal was going on between some red & black ants over the nest & eegs, I took over 100 shot & not one was in focus, guess I tried to hard, ho hum at least it was digital & not film eh.
Cheers for now
Mark

Hi Mark,
Nice shot on the first, but you didn't get either eyes in focus. I know you couldn't get either of them in focus, but should have nabbed one of them ;) He does look busy I have to admit.
As to the eggs, I suspect that they're fungi.
