shot hand held using a 10D with 70-200L @200, F4.5, 1/1500, iso200
PS6: small amount of crop and levels, USM 200,0.5,0
at that shutter speed, maybe I could have shot at f8 for >DOF, but this was just a snap shot really.
greater shrpening of the boat name shows "my fourth chick", bu ti thought it looked too fake.

Looks nice :)

I would crop the the bottom and right hand side so that the pelican is in the lower right hand corner,.. then I would experiment with a top crop and see if the entire mast is really neccesary.

I was trying to keep the entire reflection of the mast in the shot. It's hard to get teh effect with scrolling. here's the small version from the gallery. too tiny, but maybe you can see what i mean

I would chop off the top just below the boat waterline. That leaves the reflections and the pelican, a simple and amusing pic.

Maybe the last wave on the bottom too, just leaving the symetrical ones. Maybe sharpen the pelican a bit.
