I have a concern about the need to lock threads in the classified section once they are sold.
I am discovering first hand how this is a bad idea as a item that was previously sold is up for sale again because the buyer couldn't afford it. It makes it difficult to keep track, or ask a question if the sellers PM is full. It also is no good if the deal goes sour as a "negative" feedback cant be left on that thread warning others who might one day search the users previous sales.
It seems that *SOLD* in the header should be more then enough to end a thread and if not, so what? It could mean that the item is back up for sale, or a comment is made or whatever. Because people do check the "threads started" by a user, so wouldn't it be better if someone searching a user could see if the transaction was followed through with? If possible.
Just a concern I have.
