convert Raw Image with s30

Hello and good day i have had my s30 for a year now and love it,just tried using the raw format to see if there is any difference in the quality of my pics,to be quite honest i didn't noticed any difference after converting them with the Zoom Browser. Maybe i am using the wrong setting on the camera i have it on the letter p to take my raw images,i also tried a program called Breeze Browser it is a trial version cause i heard so much about it and still hadn't noticed any difference either.Also when i printed out the pic i converted on my epson photo printer the quality stunk,what am doing wrong PLEASE HELP.

I also have an s30. In almost all situations you will not see any difference between the best jpeg and and the converted RAW image. The raw image is useful for adjusting camera settings when you make a mistake. If you want to save everything as RAW, go ahead; you don't need to though.
I keep the mode dial in P most all the time.
