How do you keep the EXIF data?

How do you keep the EXIF data after you do all the photoshop touchup? Everytime I touchup my images via Photoshop CS and convert them to jpeg, it loses its EXIF data.

If anyone knows how to retain my EXIF data even after post processing, please let me know.

You must being doing your saving via "Save for Web". If you do a "Save as" it will leave your EXIF intact.

I always keep an original with the EXIF available to me. I have been asked long after the shot for some of the shooting information and keeping an original JPG or TIFF is a good way of accomplishing this.
