That's a pretty powerful title along with that picture...
Nice capture.

Yep quite a graphic image, nice juxtaposition with the posters on the wall.

Poor guy. Who took his wine bottle?

Good shot. I might have got down to his level to shoot a couple. I might have also cloned out the rag to the right.

It's a strong image against the 'celebrity' poster backdrop and, without any value judgement against the guy or the 'celebrities', the shot makes me think about the emptiness of some people's lives and that both ways of existance can sometimes be incomplete solutions to that in their own ways. It also looks like he has some headphones on ... which is ironic ;-)

He's managed to keep hold of a watch, which is surprising given the condition he must get himself in at times, going of this shot at least.

The word rejects on the poster says it all really. People like this guy get lost along the way

Strong image. Really not what I expected when I saw the title.

But there's something about the guy that makes me think it's performance art? The shoes and pants are too nicely/strategically scuffed, the watch as Sean pointed out, has he got earphones on?

Thanks all for the replies.

Fred is a real homeless person who suffers from schizophrenia and drug addiction.

I shot this friday after work. I don't know if he's asleep or had passed.

I can't believe that someone passed out on teh streets of NY could keep a watch and earphones, and presumable whatever those earphones are connected to. Heck, You'd be lucky to wake up with shoes.

The pic is good and the title makes it even more interesting. Sometimes I forget the impact a good title can have.
