Hi can everyone please give me some constructive criticism? I use a canon rebel xt eos and the default lens heres some of my favorite shots. I'm new and really love photography!

I like the lighting effect on the san diego city lights from the water...

First up, welcome to the forum.
I like the 2nd one of the Golden Gate Bridge. The skyline on the first one seems too distant/far/small... if you can zoom in with a tighter crop it may look better. IMHO, people will want to be able to recognise the buildings... but that's just me.

dgcorner,
thanks for the welcome! i have been looking around, but this is the first time i've actually posted some of my images.
as for the san diego shot, what do you mean a tight crop? basically take that image, and crop it to fit the main buildings?
thanks,
jade

Both are well done, maybe a tripod for the night shot. Nelson's in San Diego is a photoshop store with great staff.

Hiya Jade. If you can probably shoot closer or crop tighter it will be better -- too much space above the buildings and below the reflection on the water... but that's just me...
