First wedding in many years.
This is the wedding that the groom, my step grandson, and the family wanted me to shoot. I did not want to be the primary shooter, because of lack of proficiency and not having a back up camera. As posted recently, I dropped my 50mm f1.4 a week before, and it was my only fast lens. I do have a 90mm f2.8. As it turned out, I learned the night before that someone hired a pro, so I was 2nd shooter. June 3rd here in Maryland it rained, but it did clear for a few quick shots on the church steps. The reception was in a dungeon that they called a fire hall. I tried to do the best that I could with what I had. I wasn’t going to post any photos, considering the clever and creative shots that I see on this forum, however if I’m going to discuss subjects here, you guys deserve to see some of my shots.
