First wedding in many years.

This is the wedding that the groom, my step grandson, and the family wanted me to shoot. I did not want to be the primary shooter, because of lack of proficiency and not having a back up camera. As posted recently, I dropped my 50mm f1.4 a week before, and it was my only fast lens. I do have a 90mm f2.8. As it turned out, I learned the night before that someone hired a pro, so I was 2nd shooter. June 3rd here in Maryland it rained, but it did clear for a few quick shots on the church steps. The reception was in a dungeon that they called a fire hall. I tried to do the best that I could with what I had. I wasn’t going to post any photos, considering the clever and creative shots that I see on this forum, however if I’m going to discuss subjects here, you guys deserve to see some of my shots.

Why did you start two threads with the same title about the same thing? One thread is enough. I would suggest moving the other images into here, and deleting the other thread.

This is my first post with pics, as soon as I realized that I had double posted, I tried to delete. I couldn't seem to accompolish it.

I think you can do it, not 100% sure. On the other thread delete the attachments, hit edit post, hit delete, choose the delete button, hit delete again. Or just PM a mod, but probably not worth the bother :)

I think some of those shots have potential, but they all seem slightly over exposed.

All were shot in RAW, if they look over exposed, it is my poor PP. Actually I looked at my histogram very frequently, and the vast majority were right on.
