Permissions on EE PHP scripts [Archive] - Canon Digital Photography Forums

I noticed some of my PHP scripts in the Gallery directory had 664/666 permissions, others 444. I changed them to 444, is this going to cause problems? I did this in light of the current hacks of which I was one of the recipients.
