A Couple From Yesterday

Here are a couple shots from a wedding I was at yesterday. Let me know what you think, I would greatly appreciate it. This is only the 3rd wedding I was an assistant at. He eventually wants me to start shooting on my own with an assistant with me. So any help would be great. Thanks.

This was meant to be a shot with him just looking like he was watching her get her photo taken.

This was kind of an experiment at the church, I wanted to try a silhouette with them in front of a window. I wish I could have got him without the window frame running through his head :/

I absolutely love the first one. Both technically and creatively
Second one is too dark, and the window edge cuts into the sillhouette.
The third one has some issues with shadows and direct sunlight on the faces.

(of course, as you can see from my number of posts, that I am not even close to being an expert).

for number 2. bring them farther away from the window and squat so you are shooting from below. That will bring more of their silhou. into the picture.

try not to shoot underneath the shadow of a tree as it leaves weird shadows across the body and the face.
