Shiraz,

take a look at this ressource:
Kazukoku's G1 + G2 report (http://kazutoku.maxs.jp/G1andG2/report1_eng.htm)

It features tests of the most important adapters and conversion lenses available for the G series (I think it is still applicable for the G5-G6, as the optics have not changed much. They certainly did not change much between G2 and G3).

I had an Olympus WCON-08 on my G2 and truly loved it. Bought it for about 150 EUR and think it was worth every cent.
A great way to buy new and unused lenses with slight packaging defects a lot cheaper is from eBay seller 'olympusauctions' (Olympus selling off items in damaged packaging online): http://search.stores.ebay.com/Olympus-Auctions_wcon_W0QQfciZ5QQfclZ3QQfsnZOlympusQ20Auct ionsQQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQftsZ2QQsaselZ73431637QQsofpZ 0

Best regards,
Andy
