What a good photo marie, there is so much interest in the photo.
I see a total of 7 gulls, with one gull being focused. All the men sitting on the bench, the bridge, the 'the time for a pint' sign and many more points. Excellent good shot.

I thought the picture looked a bit cluttered with all that going on
but nice that you can make out anything
either the 'time for a pint' advertisement was on a huge truck going over O'Connell Bridge in the centre of the city or its on the huge railway bridge which is behind the traffic
the boardwalk by the river was built a few years ago and is well used now by many.
hopefully anyone taking drugs or too much to drink will not cause trouble, to themselves and others who want to enjoy what the amenity has to offer
it is a lovely addition in a busy city
the people sitting are probably on their lunch break and the seagulls know it (watching all the crumbs falling )
there was a lot going on in the colour version (diffferent colours all over)
and the clutter may have been even more difficult to separate anything to see the picture properly but I liked it anyway
:)
many thanks

Which "not the usual birds" are you refering to? the ones in flight or the ones on the bench?   Great capture, looks like they had you in there sights.

Great shots, this kinda of reminds me of the old movie The birds, By Alfred Hitcock.

Which "not the usual birds" are you refering to? I don't see any "birds" on the bench. At least, not by the '70s definition. ;)
Nice "catch", Marie!

I like how relational this photo is. lots of eyes, faces, expressions on both humans and gulls.

Great picture. Even with all the things going on, it really makes for a great photo. The birds, the facial expressions of the guys on the bench and that sign is the shot maker!
Nice one!
