I need to know when is it beneficial to shoot RAW, over jpeg? i did a shoot for a small billboard and shot jpg (fine,large) maybe the quality wont be good enough. Can you open the raw images in Zoombrowser? I have 3X 512MB CF cards should i start to only shoot raw photos? is it difficult to "open" RAW files?
Why does my camera not always rotate the portrait pictures i take with the BG-ED3 attached... sometimes yes sometimes NO!!?? I have

The issue of RAW vs JPEG has been beaten to death in this forum. Just do a search using "search" above.

I agree with Scott. If you find the right threads you will also find the links to take this subject even further.
For my personal preference I shoot in nothing but RAW. I currently post process these in breezebrowser but am looking at CL1E.

and the other side of the coin is me. I shot all jpeg. To take care of customers I cant be fussing about with constant conversions and corrections.
Take your pick and see what suits you.
