Hi all,

Just a couple of shots from a few weeks ago on my first night out with the 20D. I'd love to get some critique :)

I like the shots. What's the exposure on that first one?

I like both shots. The first shot was in manual and you did all the work. The second shot was on normal (auto ?) and you let the camera do all the work. Why.

It was the first time I had done an outing with my camera. I hadn't gotten fully intimately acquainted with yet and learned how to do certain things. I took the bridge pic later on in the night, and by then I had gotten a bit more used to it, and how to use the manual mode.

Interesting that results from manual and auto are both excellent. I spent a week in Surrey once, but never saw these places. Welcome to the forum, and good luck with the 20D.
