warranty drop-off?

Does anyone know if it is possible to drop your camera off rather than send it? I live right by Irvine and if possible it'd save me a lot of money (insurance for a thousand dollar cam =T) just to drop it off.. if possible.

In case anyone looked and wanted to know.. you can drop it off if you call the place and set up a drop-off time so they know you're coming. They should tell you how to prepare the camera and stuff too.
