Cannot select custom resizing methods for thumbs and microth

Ok I managed to figure out the Ftp setup, and then I created my own resize methods, for thumbs and microthumbs, but when I go to edit the paths screen to select my thumb and microthumb sizes, the only option i get for thumbs is: Thumbs (GD 110) and for microthumbs, i get: microthumbs (GD 43) the only place where it lists my custom sizes, is for the size paths at the top (for the big photos) any idea how to fix this Pekka?

Ps: i tried setting up image magic, and image majik, but my server doesnt have them installed yet, nor does it have exif.. i will talk to my hosting provider about these. All I have right now is GD 1 and GD 2, as well as IPTC installed.

You have to set them up yourself, goto the ee admin page, under settings you will see "resize methods" at the bottom of the resize methods page click on the button to add resize methods. Alternatively edit some that are already there.

Obviously as your server does not have IMAGEMAGICK installed, you will be restricted to using GD

i did that, but when i go to the "Paths" page, and select my ftp directory to upload to, and then go to select resize methods for the thumbs and micro thumbs, the only thing it lists for thumbs and micro thumbs are "thumbs gd" and "microthumbs gd" the only place on the paths screen where i can select the custom resizing methods that I've made, is for the "size" folders (where you keep the larger images"

Please see these example images as to what i mean... I took screen captures. The first one is for the big setting... the second picture is for the thumbs, and the third picture is for the microthumbs... the resize method choices are missing from the thumbs and microthumbs.

never mind, please forgive my ignorance.. i just noticed at the top that you can select from a drop down menu "thumbs and microthumbs" as well as "big"

Please note also that in path setup editor you can only see sizes which use ACTIVE graphics modules.

In resize method setup you can see all regardless of module state.
