no pc terminal?

forgive my ignorance...

what exactly does it mean to not have a pc terminal? that the camera cannot connect directly to the pc? if so, what steps are required to download pics to pc.

The "PC terminal" has nothing to do with your PC (Personal Computer). You connect your digital camera with an USB interface cable.
