Since installing my new Ixus 400 on my XP professional system, I find that my scanners (CanoScan N650U and Brother MFC300C) will not work unless the Ixus is connected, switched on and in file view mode. The camera will work without the scanners, but without the camera the scanners respond with "handler error". Any suggestions would be appreciated.
