Alright, it took me long enough to post these pictures online, but I consider myself lucky to have them at all. They were taken between backups of my images, and go figure, my hard drive crashed. Thankfully I was able to dig into my sent files in Gmail and found 5 of them. I took about 70 that morning, but luckily I had e-mailed my 5 favorite ones to a friend. Losing these pictures would be very depressing, at least to me.

I know the last image isn't quite straight, but other than that can I get some good CC on these?

There is almost no PP in any of these pictures, they just kinda came out this way. Any suggestions?

That's a shame about losing your photos, but at least you were lucky enough to keep these five. Like you say, #5 is squint, and I think that #3 might look better with a slight straighten too. I like #1 the best for the composition and colours, and while #4 doesn't work for me by being a bit dark, and having an out of context city skyline, it would be nice to try this one again to show the vastness of the graveyard, but if possible with just trees or sky so as not to detract from the image.

Nice series. Glad you were able to save them, and thanks for sharing.

Thanks. I've gotten rather mixed reviews of the one with the city in the background. Several people that have seen it have said it was their favorite, but honestly, it doesn't do all that much for me.

I wonder if a picture like that needs to be up in a border/frame and have a title on it to put it into context . Maybe if it had a title like "Rising and Falling" or something like that.

The first is definately my favorite. I'm not exactly sure what draws me to it so much, but I have loved that picture since the moment I snapped it.

In the third one, would it be a good idea to clone the tree out of the top left? Or is it better how it is?
